Remote controls and focus
Use a viewing app designed for the actual platform. Confirm that the remote can reach the playback and caption controls, rather than assuming a phone interface remains usable at television scale.
Bear Player is another application
Record whether FilmPlus itself opens and whether the companion player opens. When a platform displays a disablement notice, read that notice rather than treating it as an ordinary freeze.
Continue on a supported screen
Find the production in the browser catalogue and open the chosen service through a supported television app. A browser favourite does not restore settings in the installed Fire TV application.
