1080p and a steady picture
Full HD can be a comfortable choice when the service and screen support it. Judge moving scenes and dialogue, not just a sharp paused image.
4K depends on more than a television
Inspect the film edition, player, device and plan. A 4K screen does not turn every source into native 4K. HDR and surround audio require their own checks.
When quality changes mid-scene
A player may adjust its bitrate as the connection changes. Use that player’s available settings and compare another title before deciding whether the issue is local or source-related.
